- नेपाल: PM केपी शर्मा ओली ने फिर छेड़ा ‘असली अयोध्या’ राग, राम मंदिर निर्माण का निर्देश

- असली अयोध्या-नकली अयोध्या को लेकर विवादित बयान देने के बाद आलोचना का शिकार हुए नेपाल के प्रधानमंत्री केपी शर्मा ओली फिलहाल अपने रुख से पीछे हटते नहीं दिख रहे हैं। यहां तक कि एक कदम आगे जाते हुए उन्होंने नेपाल के माडी में भगवान राम का जन्मस्थान बताते हुए राम मंदिर निर्माण का फैसला किया है।
- उन्होंने इसके लिए स्थानीय प्रतिनिधियों को प्लान तैयार करने को कहा है जबकि अधिकारियों का मानना है कि पहले वहां के लोगों की असल समस्याएं हल की जाएं, उसके बाद राम मंदिर बनवाया जा सकता है।

- ‘Well-established, undeniable fact’: Nepal disputes Jaishankar’s Buddha ‘greatest Indians’ remark
Key points:
- Nepal on Sunday responded to external affairs minister S Jaishankar’s remarks that Gautam Buddha was one of the two greatest Indians for people around the world by saying historical and archaeological evidence shows the founder of Buddhism was born in Nepalese territory.
- A statement issued by the Nepal foreign ministry’s spokesperson said: “It is a well-established and undeniable fact proven by historical and archaeological evidences that Gautam Buddha was born in Lumbini, Nepal. Lumbini, the birthplace of Buddha and the fountain of Buddhism, is one of the UNESCO world heritage sites.” While talking on India’s soft power, Jaishankar had described Buddha and Mahatma Gandhi as the two “greatest Indians” who are remembered by people around the world.

- जम्मू और कश्मीर: पाकिस्तान ने पुंछ में फिर किया सीजफायर का उल्लंघन, भारतीय सेना दे रही मुंहतोड़ जवाब

- जम्मू और कश्मीर में बॉर्डर पर पाकिस्तान की नापाक हरकत जारी है। पाकिस्तान ने पुंछ जिले के मनकोट सेक्टर में संघर्ष विराम का उल्लंघन किया है। भारतीय सेना ने जवाबी कार्रवाई की है।
- पाकिस्तानी सेना ने मंडाकोली, पॉकेट कांप्लेक्स और जर्मन कांप्लेक्स इलाके से शुक्रवार सुबह करीब साढ़े पांच बजे नौगाम सेक्टर में सेना की मंजिल और एमकेआर पोस्ट को निशाना बनाया। भारतीय जवानों ने गोलाबारी का मुंहतोड़ जवाब दिया था।

- घुसपैठ की कोशिश नाकाम:सुरक्षाबलों ने पुंछ में घुसपैठ कर रहे एक आतंकी को मार गिराया, दो गंभीर रूप से घायल; खाने के पैकेटों में पाकिस्तानी मार्किंग मिली

- जम्मू-कश्मीर के पुंछ जिले में रविवार को एलओसी से घुसपैठ की कोशिश कर रहे एक आतंकी को सुरक्षाबलों ने मार गिराया। दो की हालत गंभीर है। इलाके में अभी सर्च ऑपरेशन चलाया जा रहा है।
- पीआरओ लेफ्टिनेंट कर्नल देवेंद्र आनंद ने बताया कि कुछ आतंकवादी शुक्रवार को कृष्णा घाटी सेक्टर में एलओसी पार कर घुसपैठ की कोशिश कर रहे थे। इस दौरान उन्हें पकड़ने की कोशिश की गई तो उन्होंने फायरिंग शुरू की दी। जवाबी गोलीबारी में एक आतंकी ढेर हो गया और दो घायल हो गए।

- Indus Water Treaty meeting: India suggests video conference, Pakistan insists on talks at Attari border
Key points:
- India has suggested to Pakistan that the talks for discussing pending issues under the Indus Water Treaty (IWT) be held through video-conferencing in view of the coronavirus pandemic, but Islamabad has been insisting that the parleys be conducted at the Attari check post, sources said on Sunday.
- On Pakistan’s request, a meeting was scheduled in last week of March to discuss pending issues under the Indus Water Treaty. However, it was deferred due to current pandemic.
- Considering the fact that it may take some time for the situation to normalise and international travel to resume, the Indian Commissioner, in the first week of July, proposed to hold the meeting through video conference or any alternative means, sources said.

- अमेरिका में भारत के राजदूत और शीर्ष राजनयिक तरणजीत सिंह संधू ने कहा है कि अमेरिकी पश्चिमी तट का दोनों देशों के बीच द्विपक्षीय रिश्तों में विशेष स्थान है। उन्होंने क्षेत्र में भारतीय अमेरिकी समुदाय से आत्मनिर्भर भारत के लक्ष्य को हासिल करने में अहम भूमिका निभाने की अपील भी की।
- संधू ने पश्चिमी तट में भारतवंशी समुदाय के लोगों के साथ पहले डिजिटल संवाद के दौरान कहा कि भारतीय-अमेरिकी समुदाय की उद्यमिता वाली भावना और उच्च व अत्याधुनिक प्रौद्योगिकी में उत्कृष्टता के कारण पूरी दुनिया में प्रतिस्पर्द्धा बढ़ा रहा है। इसीलिए पश्चिमी तट का अमेरिका के साथ हमाली साझेदारी में अहम स्थान है, जहां भारतवंशी समुदाय ने अपनी अलग पहचान बनाते हुए इस क्षेत्र के आर्थिक विकास में बड़ा योगदान दिया है।
- उन्होंने कहा कि अमेरिका अपनी अत्याधुनिक प्रौद्योगिकी के साथ मेक इन इंडिया, डिजिटल इंडिया और स्टार्टअप इंडिया जैसे कार्यक्रमों में अहम साझेदार बन सकता है।
