Thanks to the initiative taken by a bold advocate and the social media groups, the mainstream media was forced to take up the issue of the rabid hate mongering tha Mr.Akbaruddin Owaisi who is a MIM MLA ,floor leader in the AP Legislative Assembly. Mr.Akbar is not new to this spewing of venom and he has done it on numerous occasions in the past. In some of our earlier posts we had questioned the MIM’s actions and exposed how they manufacture riots in the city of Hyderabad.
The idea, it seems is to spread their network outside Hyderabad now and go pan-India. His brother who is also a MP and is a frequent panelist in NDTV and other English channels, has not condemned the comments which also implicitly show that he is in support of what Akbaruddin said.

Ten Key Objectionable Points made by Akbaruddin Owaisi against the country and Hindus during a public program at Nirmal, Adilabad district, Andhra Pradesh – Dec 24th 2012.
1. Insulting Temples :
He says ” In Hindustan, we (Muslims) ruled for 1000 years and we left our symbols. Taj Mahal, Red Fort, Agra Fort, Qutub Minar, Charminar, Golkonda and hundreds of other symbols. The world comes to Hindustan to see our symbols. The people from the world do not come to see Ram and Krishna Mandirs” .
2. Claiming that Indian Muslims have the legacy of the invaders. He says”When we ruled for 1000 years, we were not even 1 crore, now we are 25 crores Why are we silent now ? .Every Pandit and Pujari used to offer salaam ( salute) to us. The 4 minars of Charminar show that the East-West-North-South were dominated by us” .
3. Justifying Terror attacks :
He Says ” Terror attacks happened, bomb blasts happened – they were wrong. But Oh Hindustan if you had not allowed destruction of Babri Masjid, then the bomb blasts at Mumbai would also not have happened. Every action has a reaction. I am only for Muslims. We will think about secularism only after Babri masjid is rebuilt. “
4.. Spreading wrong Information about legal system :
He says ” Ajmal Kasab was hanged. I dont want to go into a debate on his hanging. Why was he hanged ? He came from Pak came into India, killed 200 civilians and he was hanged. In Gujarat, the person who killed 2000 Muslims – no case has been filed against him. If there is any law in this country, then the way you have hanged Kasab, you must hang Modi. This Muslim of Andhra gives a call that if muslims unite then Modi will also be hanged.”
5. Justifying Bangladeshi Infiltration into Assam : He says ” In Assam, the riots happened using AK-47 on Muslims. You say they are Bangladeshi. If the Muslims are Bangladeshi, who are you Advani ? You ran away and came to India. We Muslims of this country did not run away anywhere. “
6. Insulting Hindu customs : He says “This country was ours and will remain ours.” ( he stated earlier that the country was ruled by Babar, Shah Jahan & Aurangzeb and they are their followers). He says further ” If in case we go, we will take Taj, Qutub Minar, Red fort. What will be left ? The dilapated Ram Mandir of Ayodhya, the nude paintings of Ajanta-Ellora ! What else be left ? When we die, we are buried because we have love for the land. When you die, you are cremated and mix with the nature like vagabonds.”
7.Threatening a democratically elected CM : He says “There are many such Modis who have come and gone. Modi, come to Hyderabad once and we will show you. Tasleema Nasreen came, no one knows where she is. She ran away. The same will happen to Modi.”
8. Encouraging Violence and Call To Muslims to Kill Hindus – He says” Hindustan – We are 25 crores, you are 100 crores. Remove the police for 15 minutes and we will show you who has more courage and strength. ( Crowd rises up in standing ovation ) Why are you afraid ? When something happens ( meaning riots), I get phone calls. Nobody calls and tells me- “This happened and I did this and now you take care”. Take action – don’t fear. 9. Insulting National Heroes & Hindu sentiments- He says “In Ayodhya , there are 3 mandirs where people claim that Ram was born here. In Haryana, Kaushalyapuram there are places where people say Ram was born here. Oh Vajpayee, Oh Advani, tell us where all did Ram’s mother go. They say Ram was born 15 Lakhs years ago. How do they know what happened so many lakhs of years when we are unable to track even 200 years of history ?”
He further says ” There are many pujas that they( Hindus) do. Rama, Lakshman, Durga..how many more. I knew Lakshmi but who is Bhagyalakshmi ? What sort of names are these ? I dont want to spoil the atmopshere of this pious program by taking this manhoos(ill-fated) names – ( names of Hindu gods and goddesses) ” !
10. Reg cow slaughter– He says ” If only they ( Hindus) also eat the beef, they will realise how tasty it is. We are eating it and we love it. We will not compromise ” .
Updates : The media had ignored the issue. But due to the pressure by social media, the police and electronic media was forced to take up the issue.
Update on 8th Jan 2013 : Owaisi returns from UK. He had gone to London after his speech. He indicated that he was unwell and should not be arrested. He went through the check-up at Gandhi hospital, found fit and arrested.

The Turko-Afghan invaders ruled over India for that 1000 years, but the Muslims you see in India today are all converted Muslims, their ancestors were all Hindus. It is foolish of Owaisi to claim that he and his fellow Muslims belong to the lineage of Ghazni, Ghauri, Babur and Aurangzeb. No matter how much they deny, the Muslims ( and also the Christians ) belong to the same ancestry as Hindus.

The persistent Muslim invasions started as early as 7th century, and after almost a hundred years they managed to breach Afghanistan and enter Panjab. Clan after clan kept invading and was repulsed at one point or the other, whether Panjab or Rajasthan or Ujjain areas. The glorified Ghazni hardly could make a breach and was repeatedly made to fly – which they try to advertise as “raids”. Finally they did bring Delhi under their control, and made raids deep down in south, after several failed attempts and shameless retreats. No honest and dignified ruler would have made repeated raids after successive defeats, but the Hindu kings overestimated the character levels of Muslim invaders. Anyways, there were multiple Sultanates that got control of some parts of South India. North East never came under Muslims because of Ahom resistance. No single Muslim clan could rule even Delhi for long. Unfortunately for Hindus, whenever they brought down one clan another external force started an invasion. When the herioc Rana Sanga almost expelled Lodi the Timurid Bariarian Babur invaded. And when the Mughals were reduced to nothing by the Marathas, (as anyone can see what Mughal territory was reduced to under Aurangazeb when Tarabai was controlling Maratha empire), the Afghans (who were then no more Hindus) invaded again, weakening the Maratha hopes against multiple enemies – British, French, Portugese and Muslims.
To say Muslims ruled for 1000 years is absolute bogus.
More than that, the important thing to note is that Muslims gave destruction and barbarism to Hindu Bharat while the latter gave back civilization to the former. The barbarian Babur invaded Bharat and created destruction and immoral killings. But two generations down, Akbar learned a lot of civilized life in India, which can be seen in his profound personality change. So ultimately what needs to be emphasized is that the Muslims are not wrong in merely foisting themselves, but are wrong in thinking they are giving something good to the world – they are the uncivilized people who need to do some learning, some tolerance, pluralism, co-existence and morality.

Overall Akbaruddin is demonstrating poor grasp of history, poor grasp of political savvy, and poor judgement to seek short lived popularity as a demagogue.
The propensity to Islam in the west has several reasons. First, it is the absence of a moral culture and need for some blind faith in common man’s mind which is making them stick to Abrahamic religions. Second. Islam comes close to the monotheistic mindset of the west. So they know the problems in those religions, but have no better options. As Confused Krishna Bhakta from Canada says, Buddhism is the next most suitable candidate going up in the west because of its being the least distant nature from Abrahamic ideologies. On the contrary Hinduism is way more complex, and people often fail to see the difference between religion, social culture, knowledge legacy etc in Hinduism and try to put all these under a monolithic system called Hinduism. Any single religion in Hinduism, can be packaged into something much simpler – an experiment ISKCON did with remarkable success. Of course it has its limitations but the more such experiments happen, and with indirect learning from those limitations, Hindu religions can grow a lot in the west that is looking for “simpler” religions.
For Islam or Christianity, it is not possible to package them into religions by cutting their non-religious parts, because that requires modifications to their primary “revealed” sources – which they cannot afford. On the contrary the oriental systems have a clean distinction between religious and non-religious, revealed and non-revealed etc.
For this exact reason, India was never a theocracy when Hindus ruled. And will not become so if Hindu rashtra forms.

Again, when Muslims say “Islam is the fastest growing religion on the planet” they are wrong. The only way it is growing is through having babies. And when those babies grow up, not all of them choose Islam as their adult religion.

Large demographic changes happen over decades and centuries. Conversions are definitely happening into Islam.

Spreading or conversion is not the only way to grow, and as a matter of fact their numbers are growing. The determining question would be what is the rate of conversion out of Islam – I do not see much, whether it is because of threat or ghetto mindset or any other reason. This is another reason Christianity feels threatened.
Islam does not believe in painting an attractive picture to gain converts, in contrast to Christianity. Islam’s tool is fear. It can be fear of Muslim aggression or fear of sin or any other fear they use.

A few unwed single moms convert because they fall in love with “tall dark and handsome” immigrant Muslim men who woo and romance them like no man has ever previously done. These men seek out these plain jane single moms who are not coveted by men from their own society. These small minority of single moms like that Muslims believe in charity and donate to pay the electricity bill of “Sister Kimberly” in order to lure her further into the Islamic community. Once fully converted and married to her “handsome prince” of an immigrant Muslim man, the fairy tale ends and she gradually comes to understand the real purpose of the romance/marriage (green card and points in heaven for converting a kafir). Eventually these women divorce their Muslim husbands and leave Islam. This is the trajectory of “conversion” in the West.

This is a phase, and it is still possible for those women to “leave Islam” because of the state and majority Christianity. The question is how far away is Islam from critical mass (that switches their ways) and whether their numbers are increasing or decreasing. However slow, their increase is consistent. Beyond critical mass you will start seeing that freedom to revert going away.

Bullcrap. Most tourists to India are “spiritual tourists”. They go to the many thousands of yoga ashrams and retreat centers to learn Yoga and meditation. They also go to the many Ayurveda centers to seek treatment and learn Ayurveda. This man does not know what the heck he’s speaking about because he is disconnected from the direction the West is currently taking wherein millions of people are turning to Dharmic traditions like Buddhism, Yoga, Vedanta, Ayurveda, etc.

But it is only given importance for its intent. Making factual argument against it is giving it unnecessary prominence, for the way public opinion is currently being built in Hyderabad.
