The Truth of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee’s Alliance with Muslim League

Without visionary Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee the map of India would not have been the way it is today… there would have been no Jammu and Kashmir, no Bengal, and no industrialization of India, which was most needed in the post-independence era.

Whenever the question of nexus between the Muslim League and the Congress Party during the partition of India comes up, their instant retort is that Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee of the Hindu Mahasabha had also allied with the Muslim League. They allege that before independence, in the year 1941, Shyama Prasad Mukherjee formed the government in Bengal along with Mohammad Ali Jinnah’s Muslim League.

This is a lie that has been repeated by the Congress-leftist ecosystem so often that many people have come to believing it is true. However, once you know the truth, you will recognise that honest patriots were demonised post-independence while traitors were glorified.

In the provincial elections held in undivided Bengal in the year 1937, the Krishak Praja Party formed the government. Its leader was Fazlul Haq and the Muslim League backed his government. In 1941, the Muslim League withdrew its support from the Krishak Praja Party on the issue of Viceroy’s Defense Council and Fazlul Haq’s government crumbled. Following the withdrawal of the Muslim League, certain other parties including the Hindu Mahasabha and the Forward Bloc of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose saved the government by supporting the Krishak Praja Party. After this Shyama Prasad Mukherjee became the finance minister in that government. That government of Bengal had nothing to do with the Muslim League, but the Congress-leftist propaganda machinery continues to shamelessly perpetuates this.

The more fundamental question is why Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee is target of such political propaganda?

The truth is that this propaganda it is motivated by resentment within the Congress-Left-Jihadi trio. This is the annoyance of being unable to fully separate Bengal from India. If a part of Bengal is still part of India, then the credit goes to Shyama Prasad Mookerjee… This makes him an enemy of Congress-leftists and Jihadis.

Just before independence, the Suhrawardy government of the Muslim League had readied the plan to make the whole of Bengal a part of Pakistan… But Shyama Prasad Mukherjee started a movement to divide Bengal, which was strongly opposed by the Congress. On this Shyama Prasad Mukherjee had replied to Jawaharlal Nehru that – “When preparations are being made to make 45% Hindus of Bengal slaves of the Muslim League, then it is our duty to demand a piece of land for ourselves where we can live with self-respect. I want to ask, did the Congress not accept the division of Bombay and Sindh to please the Muslim League?

Like Veer Savarkar, Syama Prasad Mukherjee is also on the target of the Congress-Left propaganda system. In such a situation, it is critical that we all know the truth, so that we can any such lie.
