More than Rs. 35000 Cr have been spent by PM Modi for the Sikh cause and Punjab: Here are the details

More than 35 Thousand Crore on Sikh causes and Punjab have been spent by our PM Narendra Modi. The work of NaredraModi dwarfs any work done by any Sikh person or institute for decades. No one, I mean no one, shall accuse Modi of being anti-Sikh or anti-Punjab after critical evaluation and sheer volume of his love, respect and efforts for Sikhs.

The work of Narendra Modi for Sikhs covers virtually all aspects that affect Sikhs in India and across the globe. Share this with as many Sikhs as possible, for this is a cause for the nation and critical for the Sikh legacy and unity of Bharat.

  1. Justice for 1984 #Sikh Riot Victims opened 300 cases and punished culprits through SIT only 6 months after coming to power in 2014.
  2. ₹5 lakh each given to kin of 3,328 victims
  3. In Delhi alone, additional compensation was given to 1,320 #Sikh families worth ₹125.52 crore.
  4. 1,020 riot-hit families who migrated to Punjab from other states were given ₹2 Lakh each as part of a rehabilitation scheme.
  5. Tax-Free Language & No GST for Purchases of Utensils: Saving ₹325 crore annual benefit
  6. Celebration & Inauguration of the Kartarpur Sahib Corridor at 123 crore rupees.
  7. Declaration & celebration of Veer Baal Diwas not only pan India but across the globe, including America, Britain, Australia, New Zealand, UAE and Greece.
  8. 2 new Ropeway projects for Hemkunt Sahib worth Rs 2430, reducing travel time from 1 day to 45 minutes.
  9. Evacuation of Sikhs with Granth Sahib from Afghanistan with Guru Granth Sahib
  10. Celebration of Sri #GuruNanak Dev Ji’s 550th Prakash Parv with across the nation and globally, inaugurating and launching various Sikh heritage projects. The Finance Ministry released Gold and Silver coins to mark this auspicious occasion
  11. Celebration of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s 350th Prakash Parv across the nation and globally. A Commemorative coin of ₹350 was released to mark the occasion and commemorative postage stamps were also released as a tribute to Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji
  12. Celebration of Sri GurTegBahadur Ji’s 400th Prakash Parv across the nation and globally.
  13. Renovation of earthquake-hit Lakhpat Sahib in Gujarat, where Guru Nanak Dev ji Stayed twice on his travels.
  14. Slashing of 312 out of 314 #Congress Blacklisted Sikhs
  15. Declare Jallianwala Bagh Memorial as National Memorial Bill
  16. Solidarity with Sikhs of Pakistan & ensuring rights for Sikhs in J&K after partition by abrogating Article 370. Several Sikh shrines and pilgrimage sites in Pakistan have been included in the bilateral protocol signed with Pakistan in 1974. This ensures that their upkeep is monitored.
  17. The special train passing through places associated with Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji for five days a week is the Sarbat Da Bhala Express
  18. Passed bill in parliament for Reforms in SGPC elections for Sikh Maryada adherence.
  19. FCRA Registration for Sri Darbar Sahib, for Sikhs from across the globe to donate for Sikh causes. It had been pending for decades.
  20. Sultanpur Lodhi Renovation: Connectivity and Connection—Sikh Heritage
  21. Published & released Guru NanakBani in Urdu, Odia, and Marathi. Work is underway to publish the same in 15 other Indian languages.
  22. Nanak Dev Ji Chair for research and collaboration in UK and to be in Canada.
  23. Connectivity was improved between Sri Akal Takht, Sri Damdama Sahib, Sri Keshgarh Sahib, Sri Patna Sahib and Sri Hazur Sahib.
  24. A special flight was initiated for pilgrims from Amritsar to Nanded
  25. Prime Minister Modi inaugurated a 750-bed hospital in memory of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji at Jamnagar.
  26. Setup of interfaith studies at the University of Punjab.
  27. Indian missions helped and informed countries of Sikhs wearing of turban where Sikhs were facing issues.
  28. Enabled Air India’s direct flight from Amritsar to London, and from Amritsar to Delhi to Birmingham. Direct flights from Amritsar to Toronto have also been enabled
  29. scholarship for 18 lakh students from the Sikh community had been given.
  30. AIIMS at Bathinda Satellite Centre of PGI Chandigarh at Firozpur was also approved at a cost of ₹450 crore
  31. Announced over 115 infrastructural projects: Delhi-Amritsar-Katra four-lane expressway, Amritsar-Ghoman, Ghoman-Tanda, Amritsar-Ramdas, Hoshiarpur-Una, Hoshiarpur-Phagwara, Sunam-Moonak; Moonak-Uklana, Tanda-Hoshiarpur
  32. Work on Ludhiana Mega Food Park is ongoing, while a Mega Food Park at Phagwara was inaugurated in November 2020
  33. Added air connectivity in Punjab: taking air connectivity in Punjab to the common man, four airports in Bathinda, Ludhiana, Pathankot and Adandpur Sahib have been connected by the UDAN Scheme
  34. Piped city gas distribution network for Amritsar,  Jalandhar, Ludhiana, and Bathinda to be operational soon; Mansa, Ferozepur, Faridkot, Muktsar,  Hoshiarpur, Mohali and Gurdaspur awarded

Many other works and money spent on #Sikh are still not listed here, I have no words to describe his greatness and his dedication for Sikhs, despite receiving so much hate from the community. As I write, I am overwhelmed with mixed emotions of love and sadness, reflected in tears that await my permission to drop.
