- वैक्सीन को लेकर दोनों देशों के बीच तालमेल के सवाल पर माल्का ने कहा कि दोनों देश हमेश से रिसर्च और टेक्नॉलजी को एक दूसरे से शेयर करते रहे हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि हम एक दूसरे का सहयोग और समर्थन कर रहे हैं। इजरायली राजदूत ने कहा कि भारत में कोरोना वैक्सीन का हब बनने के लिहाज से तमाम सुविधाएं मौजूद हैं। उन्होंने उम्मीद जताई कि जब भी विश्वसनीय, सुरक्षित और कारगर वैक्सीन बनेगी तब उसमें से ज्यादातर का उत्पादन भारत में होगा। माल्का ने कहा कि भारत जब भी वैक्सीन बनाएगा तब इजरायल की जरूरतों का भी ख्याल रखेगा।

- महाराष्ट्र के बीड जिले के पराली तालुका के नंदगौल गाँव के संदीप गिते ने सूखाग्रस्त क्षेत्र में विपरीत परिस्थितियों खेती कर उल्लेखनीय सफलता हासिल की है।
- संदीप बताते हैं कि जैविक विधि से खेती करने में परम्परागत शैलियों के मुकाबले काफी कम पानी की जरूरत होती है और खर्च में भी कम होता है।
- संदीप फिलहाल, 20 टन पपीते की खेती करते हैं और उनके उत्पादों की आपूर्ति राज्य के कई हिस्सों में की जाती है।
- संदीप के कामयाबी को देखते हुए गाँव के अन्य किसान भी कुछ ऐसा ही प्रयोग करने के लिए विचार करने लगे। यहाँ जनवरी, 2020 में आठ किसानों का समूह बनाया गया था, जिससे कि आज 50 किसान जुड़े हुए हैं। ये किसान दूसरे फलों की भी खेती करने के लिए प्रयास कर रहे हैं।

Vegans are people who refrain from consuming meat, eggs, dairy products, and any other animal-derived substances.
- Their initial guinea pigs were their own children and relatives who gave genuine feedback to help them develop a vegan ice cream closest to a conventional one. They also got reviews from customers who were offered ice creams along with their catered meals.
- Their efforts paid off because they discovered there was a market, albeit a niche one, for vegan ice creams. Today, Nomou is sold in supermarkets like Nature’s Basket, ice cream parlours, and even directly to customers who order via Swiggy and Zomato.

- किसानों ने अभिशाप को बनाया वरदान, अब सफेद रेत पर हरा सोना उगाकर हो रहे मालामाल, तस्वीरें

- पहले उपजाऊ भूमि में रेत भर जाने से किसान खेती से मुंह मोड़ने लगे थे, लेकिन किसान अब नई तकनीक से खेती करने लगे हैं। जिससे सफेद रेत में हरी सब्जियों व रेत पर उगने वाली फसल से वे अच्छी कमाई कर रहे हैं। कछार की मिट्टी में न तो अधिक खाद की जरूरत होती है न ही सिंचाई की। बाढ़ के इस अभिशाप को कछार के किसानों ने अपने लिए वरदान बना लिया है।
- दो माह पूर्व जहां 15 से 20 फीट तक बाढ़ का पानी भरा था जिसमें किसानों की हजारों बीघा धान, गन्ना आदि फसल बर्बाद हो गई थी, आज उन्हीं सफेद रेत वाला खेतों को हरा सोने की खदान में बदलने के लिए संसाधन जुटाने और संवारने में किसान अपना पसीना बहा रहे है। यहां नवंबर माह से खेती का काम शुरु होकर मई माह में खत्म हो जाता है।
- नदी के रेत में बड़े स्तर पर तरबूज व खरबूजा की फसल लगाई जाती है फसल तैयार होने पर कई जिले के व्यापारी ट्रक द्वारा ले जाते हैं। दो जिलों की सीमा पर बसा गांव गुनौली निवासी पांचवी जमात तक पढ़े कालीप्रसाद व सीताराम कहते हैं कि खरबूजे की खेती ने उनके बैंक के खाते को भी वजनी कर दिया है, कहते हैं कि हसरत से हौसला है और हौसले से ही उड़ान होती है।
- गांव के ही निवासी आठवीं जमात पास धनंजय मिश्रा बताते हैं कि उनके पास सवा सौ बीघा खेत है। जिसमें तरबूज, खरबूजा, लौकी, तोरई, कुम्हड़ा, करेला, परवल, कद्दू, खीरा सहित धान, गन्ना की यहां खेती नवंबर माह से शुरू होती है और मई माह तक समाप्त हो जाती है।

- संयुक्त राष्ट्र की तरफ से जारी एक शॉर्ट वीडियो में रागिनी ने बताया है कि इस तरह के शांति अभियान का सदस्य बनना उनके लिए एक सपने के सच होने जैसा है। रागिनी 6 अप्रैल 2019 को संयुक्त राष्ट्र के शांति अभियान का हिस्सा बनी थीं। इस मिशन में वो अकेली नहीं हैं, बल्कि उनके पति भी इसी मिशन का हिस्सा हैं। उन्होंने ही यूएन मिशन के लिए रागिनी को प्रेरित भी किया था।
- रागिनी दक्षिणी सूडान में तैनात हैं। ये देश काफी समय से हिंसा की चपेट में है। इसका सबसे ज्यादा खामियाजा यहां की महिलाओं और बच्चों को उठाना पड़ रहा है। हजारों की तादाद में यहां पर लोग अपने ही देश में शरणार्थी बनकर रह गए हैं और यूएन की मदद पर जीवन गुजार रहे हैं। ऐसे में एक महिला अधिकारी के तौर पर रागिनी यूएन के शिविरों में रह रही महिलाओं के लिए भगवान से कम नहीं हैं। रागिनी बताती हैं कि यहां पर रह रही महिलाओं को ऐसी कई तरह की परेशानियां होती हैं जो वो किसी पुरुष अधिकारी से नहीं बता सकती हैं। ऐसे में वो उनकी मौजूदगी इन महिलाओं को राहत देती है।
- रागिनी मानती हैं कि यहां फैली हिंसा ने बड़े पैमाने पर महिलाओं और बच्चों को मुश्किलों में डाला है। महिला अधिकारी के होने का फायदा ये है कि महिलाएं अपनी बात सहजता से कर पाती हैं। उन्होंने यूएन के वीडियो में कहा कि उन्हें जो फीडबैक मिलता है उससे उन्हें काफी सुकून मिलता है। वो कहती हैं कि उन्हें यहां पर आने के बाद अभूतपूर्व अनुभव हुआ है। यहां पर आकर वो उन लोगों की मदद कर पाई हैं, जो इसके सही मायने में हकदार हैं। यहां पर काम करने वाला हर व्यक्ति इन लोगों के लिए आशा का स्रोत है। रागिनी ने वीडियो में बताया कि यूएन मिशन की नीली टोपी पहनने के बाद उन्हें एक नई ताकत और संतुष्टि मिलती है। उन्होंने यूएन मिशन के लिए दूसरों को भी प्रेरित किया है। उनका कहना है कि आप भी ये कर सकते हैं और आपको ये जरूर करना चाहिए।

- प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान ने एक बोतल तैयार किया है जो जीवाणु-कीटाणु को खत्म कर सकेगा। आइआइटी दिल्ली-इनक्यूबेटेड स्टार्टअप नैनोसैफ सॉल्यूशंस ने नैनो-टेक्नॉलॉजी और पारंपरिक विज्ञान के मिश्रण से पानी की यह बोतल तैयार की है। बोतल तांबे के एंटीमाइक्रोबियल गुणों पर आधारित है। इसे एक्यूक्योर (AqCure) नाम दिया गया है।
- आइआइटी पदाधिकारी ने बताया कि पानी की बोतल एंटीवायरल, जीवाणुरोधी और एंटिफंगल हैं। इसमें पॉलीमर मैट्रिक्स से सक्रिय नैनो-तांबा निकलता है। निकलने वाला तांबा कंटेनर के बाहरी और आंतरिक सतह को एंटीवायरल बनाता है। सीधे संपर्क पर यह किसी भी तरह के जीवाणु और कीटाणु को कम या खत्म करता है। साथ ही संग्रहण किए गए पानी सुरक्षित बनाता है।
- यह एक पेटेंट तकनीक है जिसमें पॉलीमर मैट्रिक्स से संयमित तरीके से सक्रिय नैनो-तांबा उत्सर्जित होता है। उत्सर्जित तांबा कंटेनर के बाहरी और आंतरिक सतह को एंटीवायरस बनाता है, जो सीछे संपर्क पर रोगाणुओं के संचरण को कम करता है और पानी को सूक्ष्मजीव विज्ञानी रूप से सुरक्षित बनाता है।

- Nao Spirits & Beverages has two gin brands under its umbrella: Greater Than and Hapusa. The startup has recorded 400 percent rise in sales in one year.
- Making the most of this trend, Anand Virmani and his wife Aparajita Ninan started Nao Spirits & Beverages in 2016. Nao Spirits claims to be India’s first craft gin company, and also one of the country’s first craft spirit startups.
- The startup was initially founded in Delhi, although its distillery was set up in Goa. Over time, Nao Spirits shifted its base to Goa and it turned out to be rather an advantage.
- With a small distillery in Goa, Nao Spirits has now branched out its distribution network to eight Indian cities and 14 countries across the globe. The startup has a subsidiary office in the UK.
- Nao Spirits sources its bottles, labels, and a few botanicals from abroad. However, most of the botanicals, along with the neutral wheat spirit, are procured from various parts of the country and distilled in Goa, in a copper pot still.

- Using electric planes and UAVs, this startup wants to redefine urban mobility in India

- Chennai-based startup Ubifly Technologies Private Limited, branded as The ePlane Company, is building electric planes and UAVs for delivery and short-range intracity travel to redefine urban mobility.
- Increasing population, encroachments, traffic problems, and infrastructure problems are major concerns for Indian roadways. In a bid to solve issues related to inadequate road infrastructure, Chennai-based The ePlane Company is looking to take the aerial route.
- Ubifly Technologies Private Limited, better known as The ePlane Company (TEC), was founded in 2016 by Pranjal Mehta and Satyanarayanan Chakravarthy to provide aerial delivery services. The startup ideated out from the National Centre for Combustion Research & Development Lab (NCCRD).
- Speaking with YourStory, Satyanarayanan, Co-founder and CTO, explains that the startup is building electric planes and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) for short-range intracity travels and is aimed at redefining urban mobility.
- He explains that TEC vehicles are a hybrid — they take off and land like a drone while moving forward in the air like an electric aeroplane.
- Incubated at IITM Incubation Cell, IIT Madras, TEC founder made an initial investment of around Rs 30 lakh to develop the UAVs.
- The startup claims that its copyrighted ML algorithms enable a supervision-free flight. The vehicle takes off and lands vertically like a drone with a one push button. - Free UPSC Coaching to Treating Addicts: Nagaland IPS Goes Above Duty to Save Lives

- When Dr. Pritpal Kaur Batra, a 2016-batch officer of the Indian Police Service (IPS), was first posted in the remote eastern border district of Tuensang in Nagaland as a sub-divisional police officer (SDPO), she was immediately struck by the generous and giving nature of its residents, who accorded her a warm welcome.
- Using her long standing passion for and knowledge of teaching and farming, Dr. Kaur conducted free coaching classes for UPSC and state service aspirants, bought books and other study materials for them with her own money, and treated, counselled and taught drug addicts new vocational skills like organic farming.
- As a result, Dr. Kaur, a native of Yamuna Nagar, Haryana, has made a real mark among the communities of Naga Hills who have been deleteriously affected by rampant underdevelopment, proliferation of synthetic drugs, HIV-AIDS, and a long-running insurgency.
- Dr. Kaur decided to set up coaching classes for the Union civil services exam on a trial basis. The local administration advertised this initiative using social media and received a good response. The Superintendent of Police, Bharat Markad, helped her by sanctioning the use of the conference hall on the office premises and even supported the venture with money to purchase study materials.

- Yet, there are woefully inadequate capacities in India when it comes to actually learning how to farm. This was the realisation that made Manguirish Pai Raiker (64). a resident of Goa, to start the state’s first community agriculture college in 2013.
- Manguirish started a manufacturing business in the late seventies and continues to run it successfully till date. “Despite being in the manufacturing industry, it was agriculture that always fascinated me,” says Manguirish.
- He realised that while what he was doing was definitely helpful to individual students, to create large-scale impact, he needed to formalise it into a scalable process.
- In building the college Manguirish mentions that he spent all his life savings, he says, “If not for my supportive wife [Varsha], I doubt I would have been able to pull it off.”
