- AMU faculty delivers lecture on NEP 2020

- “The National Educational Policy (NEP) 2020 will bring sweeping changes and address key issues such as easy access for the students, ease of participation, quality of courses offered, equity, system efficiency, governance and management, facilities of research and development, and financial commitment involved,” said Prof M Shakeel Ahmed Samdani, Dean, Faculty of Law, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU).
- He was delivering a lecture in the webinar on ‘A Discourse on the National Educational Policy-2020′ organised by All India Urdu Teachers’ Association, New Delhi.
- Prof Samdani added: The NEP will bring positive changes to strengthen the Indian education system.
- Emphasising how the NEP will eradicate inequalities, Prof Samdani pointed out that earlier children from the lower socio-economic strata were not able to get proper education due to the shortcomings in the structure implemented as a result of earlier policies.

- Shiv Sena has mentioned it earlier as well that Uniform Civil Code should be implemented in India, said party leader Sanjay Raut on Wednesday while adding that if the Centre brings something like that, then his party will take a decision about it.
- “We have said it before also that Uniform Civil Code should be implemented in the country. If the government brings something like that, then we will take a decision about it,” said Raut on being asked whether the Central Government should bring a Uniform Civil Code.
