E.M.S. wrote this regarding Shariah in “Religious Belief and Communists”
“Shariah is a creation of social circumstances prevailed in Arab countries in the times of Muhammad. Ascribing ‘divinity’ to Shariah and issuing provocative (slogans) like ‘Don’t touch it’, the ‘opponents’ are instigating Muslims” .
