रूसी कोरोना वैक्सीन के मेगा ट्रायल से भारत ने कर दिया इनकार, जानिए क्या है वजह

Key points:

  1. भारत ने रूसी कोरोना वैक्सीन को बड़े पैमाने पर ट्रायल की अनुमति देने से किया इनकार
  2. भारत में इस स्पूतनिक वी की साझेदार डॉ रेड्डी लेबोरेटरीज लिमिटेड ने मांगी थी अनुमति
  3. सेंट्रल ड्रग्स स्टैंडर्ड कंट्रोल ऑर्गेनाइजेशन ने पहले इसे छोटे स्तर पर ट्रायल करने को कहा है
  4. भारत के इस फैसले के बाद रूस के Sputnik-V वैक्सीन को शुरू करने की तैयारियों को झटका लगा है। रूस किसी ऐसे देश वैक्सीन को अप्रूव करने की कोशिश करने में जुटा था जहां कोरोना के नए केसों की संख्या दुनिया में बहुत ज्यादा हो। माना जा रहा है कि भारत अगले कुछ हफ्तों में कोरोना संक्रमण के मामले में अमेरिका को पीछे छोड़ नंबर वन हो सकता है।

  1. भारत से 40 अधिक एंबुलेंस का गिफ्ट पा खुश है नेपाल, व्यक्त किया आभार

Key points:

  1. 151 वीं गांधी जयंती के मौके पर भारत की ओर से नेपाल को 40 से अधिक एंबुलेंस उपहार के तौर पर दिया गया है। ये सुविधाएं वहां के 29 जिलों में काम कर रहे एनजीओ को मिला है। इन संगठनों ने मदद के लिए भारत के प्रति कृतज्ञता प्रकट की।
  2. इसके अलावा विभिन्न परियोजनाओं के तहत भारत की ओर से अनेकों स्कूल बस, एंबुलेंस, किताबें व स्वास्थ्य की अन्य सुविधाएं भी प्रदान की गई हैं। उल्लेखनीय है कि भारत वहां के अनेक परियोजनाओं के लिए फंडिंग भी कर रहा है साथ ही चरणबद्ध तरीके से घरों व अन्य इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर के निर्माण में मदद कर रहा है। भारतीय दूतावास ने  1994 से अब तक एडवांस लाइफ सपोर्ट, बेसिक लाइफ सपोर्ट और कॉमन लाइफ सपोर्ट एंबुलेंस समेत  करीब 823 एंबुलेंस उपहार में दिया है। 
  3.  बापू सैनिक संघ के प्रतिनिधि के तौर पर  हवलदार तुला गिरी ( Havaldar Tula Giri) काठमांडू से धारचूला आए और एंबुलेंस की सुविधा प्राप्त की। उन्होंने भारत सरकार के प्रति आभार व्यक्त करते हुए कहा कि इससे बीमार लोगों को उनके घरों तक पहुंचाने में मदद मिलेगी। उन्होंने कहा, ‘मैं बहुत खुश हूं। हमें एंबुलेंस देने के लिए मैं दूतावास को शुक्रिया कहना चाहूंगा। अब धारचूला में सड़क का भी निर्माण कराया जा रहा है, अब हम अपने भाईयों एवं बहनों की जिंदगी बचाने में कामयाबी हासिल करेंगे।’

  2. The head of the Tibetan government in exile, Lobsang Sangay, told DW on Wednesday that on the 70th anniversary of the Chinese annexation of Tibet, he was still fighting for autonomy.

  • NSA Ajit Doval meets Afghan peace negotiator Abdullah Abdullah in Delhi

Key points:

  1. Afghan peace negotiator Abdullah Abdullah on Wednesday discussed his country’s peace process with National Security Adviser Ajit Doval, who told him India is in favour of a democratic and sovereign Afghanistan “where no terrorists can operate”.
  2. Abdullah tweeted that he had a “constructive discussion” with Doval on the Afghan peace process and the talks in Doha. “He [Doval] assured me of India’s full support for the peace efforts, and that any peace settlement acceptable to Afghans, will have the support of India,” Abdullah said.
  3. “He [Doval] further stated that his country is in favour [of] an independent, democratic, sovereign & peaceful Afghanistan, where no terrorists can operate,” he added.
  4. Abdullah also thanked India for its continued support for Afghanistan and its “constructive role in peace efforts”.
